Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve was founded in 1974 to protect 227 acres of Texas Hill Country. Come and enjoy over 3 miles of hiking trails through woodland, grassland, and streamside habitats. Wild Basin also hosts a variety of family events, concerts, adult workshops, children's and school programs. Wild Basin's nature education programs are funded by special events, memberships, corporate donations and grants. Join us and explore nature, together. Moonlight Concert Series The Wild Basin Moonlight Concert series will continue this Summer with Brad Colerick and Bob Cheevers in August, Carrie Newcomer, and Michael Smith in September. These are intimate concerts with great artists, the setting is great with limited seating, and it affords you a chance to enjoy this music at an earlier hour than most venues. Check our calendar often as we add new concerts all the time. Tickets are available online 24/7 at a 25% discount. Hiking Trails
